From the moment of conception until death, and at all moments between them, the church proclaims that life is sacred.  The sacraments take the most important things in life: loving, eating, drinking, serving, belonging to a community of faith, and ultimately dying, and ritualizes then with  outward signs signifying the unseen mystery of God at work in us from the cradle to the grave.
